Pond Installation Guide (For Tama Springs, Huka Falls, Korokoro Falls and Giant Gate Falls).

All Stone Talk Waterfalls have pre-installed 25mm hose connection. With our Stone surrounds - each piece is numbered at each end for easy installation. No tools are required for installation.

You will Need:

  • Pump (your garden centre will assist with appropriate pump)
Giant Gate Falls & Korokoro Falls (1800-3000 litres per hour)
Huka Falls & Tama Springs (1000-1800 litres per hour)
  • Lotus "Roach" pond or plastic pond liner - L 2m x W 1.5m. We recommend using a "Lotus Roach Pond" made by Waimara. Pond installation guide will be on pond.
  • Flexible pipe, 1m for Tama Springs/Huka falls, 1.5mtrs for Korokoro falls, 2mtrs for Giant Gate Falls.
  • Stone Talk natural stone step-by-step surrounds. (All have pieces 1,2,3,4 & 5)
  • Waterfall additions: circle your choice - Tama Springs No.6, Huka Falls No.7a, Korokoro Falls No.8a, Giant Gate Falls No's 6,7a,8a.
  • Plastic plugs (Korokoro Falls & Giant Gate Falls only) to plug hose connection.
  • Sand (for leveling out)

INSTALLATION OF POND AND PUMP:

  • Install Lotus "Roach" Pond as per manufacturer instructions. If using plastic liner lay out step-by-step surrounds (refer Figure 1), scatter sand around inside area of surrounds to mark out shape. Carefully remove step-by-step surrounds and dig pond. Line plastic liner as per instructions from supplier. A guideline for depth of pond is 36cm.
  • Once "Roach" pond or plastic liner is completely installed, ensure surface of pond area where step-by-step connections are to be placed is level. Use sand to level out any slight unevenness.
  • Install pump as per manufacturer's guidelines.
